Construction Has Begun

Construction began at the Davies yesterday. We are in the process of compacting the site for drilling platforms that will allow for installation of our shoring system. This compaction is achieved by using a vibrating roller.

As I’m sure you may have noticed, this creates vibration that can be felt throughout the neighbourhood. We wanted to inform you that this compaction is intensely observed by inground vibration monitors and will not exceed the prescribed threshold. These monitors are implemented and monitored by a third party vibration consultant to ensure that the on-site vibration will not cause damage to surrounding properties.

We would like to apologize for the noise and any inconvenience that these activates may cause. The site compaction will not be an elongated process, in fact the compacting should take no more than a week to complete. This is the worst part of the construction processes as far as noise goes, but it is also the shortest.

We will be abiding by all City of Toronto bylaws as far as permittable work, noise and prescribed construction times. If you have any questions or concerns with regards to the construction or have any complaints please feel free to email Michael Rivait, our Sales and Marketing Manager at [email protected] and I will venture to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Thank you for your patience.
